The Room is a private feed made only of people you have actually met in person. There is no follow button on the internet: your QR code is your follow button, and it only works face to face. Scan someone at an event and you are stamped into each other’s Rooms for good, with the night you met on the record.
Every event you check into opens its Afterglow: for 72 hours, everyone who was in that room can hear each other, share the night’s photos, and follow up. When the window fades, the people you stamped stay forever and everyone else goes back to being a stranger.
