The 100-take challenge

A hundred takes is a hundred answers to a hundred questions about the thing you are building. Counted, never streaked: the hundredth take is the hundredth whether it took a hundred days or two hundred.

At ten

You stop rehearsing. The takes get shorter and more specific. The first receipt with a name in it usually lands here.

At thirty

The beats that bring people are a short list. The question engine asks them more. You start getting replies from the same people, and some of them become customers.

At a hundred

You hold a record: a hundred dated, first-person answers about your company, every one with its receipt. Nobody else has it, and it is the resume that cannot be faked.

Do it with a club

A batch, a cohort or three cofounders answering the same question each day. Progress on one page; the answers side by side; the film at the end of each week.
